When things seem Imposible.

 Wait!

(Isaiah 40:29)  He gives power to the weary; and to him with no vigor; He increases strength.

(Isaiah 40:30)  Even the young shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall;

(Isaiah 40:31)  but those who wait on Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

(Psalms 37:8)  Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret yourself to do evil.

(Psalms 37:9)  For evildoers shall be cut off; but those who wait on Jehovah, they shall inherit the earth.

(Psalms 37:10)  It is but a little while, and the wicked shall not be; yea, you shall search his place, and he shall not be.

(Psalms 37:11)  But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the overflowing of peace.

(Psalms 37:34)  Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

(Psalms 37:35)  I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.

(Psalms 37:36)  Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.

(Psalms 130:3)  If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

(Psalms 130:4)  But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

(Psalms 130:5)  I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

(2 Corinthians 4:17)  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

(2 Corinthians 4:18)  While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

(Galatians 6:8)  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

(Galatians 6:9)  And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

(Galatians 6:10)  As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

(Philippians 3:20)  For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

(Philippians 3:21)  Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

(2 Peter 3:8)  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

(2 Peter 3:9)  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

(2 Peter 3:10)  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

(2 Peter 3:11)  Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

(2 Peter 3:12)  Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

(2 Peter 3:13)  Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

(2 Peter 3:14)  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

(2 Peter 3:15)  And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

(2 Peter 3:16)  As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

(2 Peter 3:17)  Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

(2 Peter 3:18)  But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Tough Love !

No body had perfect parents. I don't think I have talked to very many people who would say that they agreed with everything their parents did.

The one thing that My mother did that was right was to spank me for my bad behavior. At the time I did not appreciate the gesture. In fact I criticized her sharply until I was raising my own children. It was then that I begin to realize just how difficult it is to do the right thing.

I have watched bad parents raise good godly children and I have watched good parents raise ungodly children. The Lord has no grandchildren. The Lord is not a respecter of persons or families. Each of us have a choice to make !

As for me and my House we will serve the Lord.

While my children where with me I was responsible for their actions. When they left my house they are responsible for their actions.

Every thing which we have done in secret will be made known.

The facts will be presented, be careful when you accuse someone, don't take hear say as fact, you might make yourself a part of another mans sin.

Sobering thought this!

Not Bitter ~~ Tough Love!

Mysterious polio-like illnesses in California!

LOS ANGELES

A small number of children in California have been afflicted with polio-like illnesses that led to paralysis in one or more limbs.

The Los Angeles Times reports ( http://lat.ms/1hnnsyd) that state health officials have been investigating the illness since a doctor requested polio testing for a child with severe paralysis in 2012. Since then, similar cases have sporadically been reported throughout the state.

The afflicted children rapidly suffered weakness or paralysis, sometimes after a mild respiratory illness.

Dr. Carol Glaser, leader of a California Department of Public Health team investigating the illnesses, says a virus may play a role.

She wouldn't provide the number of illnesses, but urged doctors to report new cases of acute paralysis so that investigators can try to figure out a possible cause.

The bleating of the flocks?

(Judges 5:16)  Why did you stay among the sheepfolds to hear the bleating of the flocks? For in the divisions of Reuben there were great searchings of heart.

Introduction to the Book of Judges:

This book takes its name from the thirteen men raised up to deliver Israel in the declension and disunion which followed the death of Joshua. Through these men Jehovah continued His personal government of Israel.

The key-verse to the condition of Israel is Judges 17:6,

"Every man did that which was right in his own eyes."

Two facts stand out--the utter failure of Israel; the persistent grace of Jehovah.

In the choice of the Judges is illustrated Zechariah's great word Zechariah 4:6,

 "not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord";

and Paul's word 1 Corinthians 1:25,

"not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called."

The book records seven apostasies, seven servitudes to seven heathen nations, seven deliverances. The spiritual parallel is found in the history of the professing church since the Apostles, in the rise of sects and the lost sense of the unity of the one body 1 Corinthians 12:12-13.

Judges is in two parts:

1.    (Judges 1-16) inclusive; key-verse, Judges 2:18.
2.     (Judges 17-21); key-verse, Judges 21:25.

The events recorded in Judges cover a period of 305 years.

Parsing Words.

Contentious would be another word you could use!

I guess people just have to debate.

It is just in the old Nature to do so!

Debate, the whole world is Debating!

The Talking Heads ?

The Bible Says that God is not the Author of confusion!

Prideful men are, concerned with making themselves out to be somebody!

What does Debate produce? Confusion.

We have access to a guide,  Jesus Christ gives us this guide when we ask,The spirit of God  leads us into all truth.

We only have to ask HIM before we start to read and He will teach us.

WHY is this necessary, because of the confusion that Men create with their opinions!

I have been a christian all my life, if you want to find fault with me that won't take long, Trust the Lord not men or any individual!

What do you have for me today Lord?

Finding Fault?

The internet is just full of opinion on the subject of  Religion! This one says this and that one says the other and it just makes your head spin sometimes.

For me, i.e.  to keep things straight in my own head,  I thought that it might be helpful to put things down in a journal form, linking to bible verses that apply,  then discuss or share them with others opening up a dialog

I ask a friend what he thought and He said "What makes you think anyone will listen to you?" I really wasn't trying to teach anyone! I just wanted to  have a discussion on the bible. Let Gods word do the teaching! We are kind of house bound these days and not getting out much, so I thought that this might be a way of having fellowship.

To my surprise ... we have had pageviews all over the world.

Places like Venezula, Ukranine, Russia,  South Africa, Nigeria ...  just one or two but still ... to have a little imput ... We plant and We water but God gives the increase.

You never know .. I read a story about the snow boarder that won the olympic gold for the women and She just heard a couple of words like ... God Loves you and the Lord changed her life.

I guess the World is just hungry for Gods word.

I forget that some people just do not have access to the Bible like we do !

Or maybe they are afraid to have one openly displayed!

I really do not know how it must feel to be in a country where people can come an shoot your family!

Gods promises become real when it is you that are in the crisis .

I have been a Christian all my life ...  He has never let me down. If you are alone in some Hotel room just ask the Lord into your life right where you are and He will give you His spirit. I remember when that happened to me .. a clean start over ... and a joy that you just cannot explain.

Keep looking up!

Trust with all your heart!

Lean not on your intellect!

Romans 3:24

Redemption, "to deliver by paying a price."

The New Testament doctrine.

The New Testament records the fulfilment of the Old Testament types and prophecies of redemption through the sacrifice of Christ. The completed truth is set forth in the three words which are translated redemption

(1) Greek, "agorazo", "to purchase in the market." The underlying thought is of a slave-market. The subjects of redemption are "sold under sin" (Romans 7:14) but are, moreover, under sentence of death; (Ezekiel_18:4); (John 3:18); (John 3:19); (Romans 3:19); (Galatians 3:10); and the purchase price is the blood of the Redeemer who dies in their stead; (Galatians 3:13); (2 Corinthians 5:21); (Matthew 20:28); (Mark 10:45); (1 Timothy 2:6); (1 Peter 1:18).

(2) Greek, "exagorazo", "to buy out of the market." The redeemed are never again to be exposed to sale;

(3) Greek, "lutroo", "to loose," "to set free by paying a price" (John 8:32); (Galatians 4:4); (Galatians 4:5); (Galatians 4:31); (Galatians 5:13); (Romans 8:21). Redemption is by sacrifice and by power

Exodus 14:30

Christ paid the price, the Holy Spirit makes deliverance IN actual experience (Romans 8:2).

John 1:17

It seems to be human nature to look for what’s wrong with people, especially those who have qualities you’d love to have. Criticizing others might make you feel better about yourself for a minute but it sends a negative vibe for the Law of Attraction to pick up on.
•    Do you find fault with other people?
•    Do you tend to be critical?
•    Do you tell the person what you find wrong?
•    Do you talk about them and put them down to other people?
If you do any of this it can come back to you in a negative way. People find fault with others for a variety of reasons. Jealousy can motivate you to look for someone’s imperfections and let them what you found, or share it with mutual friends/colleagues and have a laugh about it. Insecurity is a big reason that people find fault with others. It can feel like a relief to know that someone seems to be less perfect than you and can give you a short-lived infusion of feeling better about you.

The Palestinian Covenant

Deuteronomy 30:3

turn thy captivity

The Palestinian Covenant gives the conditions under which Israel entered the land of promise. It is important to see that the nation has never as yet taken the land under the unconditional Abrahamic Covenant, nor has it ever possessed the whole land

Compare Genesis 15:18  to  Numbers 34:1-12
(God gave this Land to Israel and You will shortly see this land  belong to Israel) God says it I believe it

The Palestinian Covenant is in seven parts.

(1) Dispersion for disobedience, Deuteronomy 30:1 and  Deuteronomy 28:63-68

(2) The future repentance of Israel while in the dispersion, Deuteronomy 30:2

(3) The return of the Lord, Deuteronomy 30:3  Amos 9:9-14   Acts 15:14-17

The Lord Jesus came for the Gentiles 2014 +/- years ago ! Acts 28:28

(4) Restoration to the land, Deuteronomy 30:5  Isaiah 11:11  Isaiah 11:12  Jeremiah 23:3-8
Israel Restored 1948 ....

(Ezekiel 37:21-25).Jesus Christ is the root of Jesse Davids father! Matthew 1:1

(5) National conversion,  Deuteronomy 30:6   Romans 11:26   Romans 11:27   Hosea  2:14-16

(6) The judgment of Israel's oppressors, Deuteronomy 30:7  Isaiah 14:1   Isaiah 14:2  Joel 3:1-8
      Matthew 25:31-46

(7) National prosperity, Deuteronomy 30:9   Amos 9:11-14

The other seven covenants:

EDENIC:  Genesis 1:28

ADAMIC:  Genesis 3:15

ABRAHAMIC: Genesis 15:18

NOAHIC:   Genesis 9:1

MOSAIC:   Exodus 19:25

DAVIDIC:   2 Samuel 7:16

NEW COVENANT:   HEBREWS 8:8

God still loves you

The next time you're discouraged about your apparent inability to change the moral direction of our culture, remember "God still loves you,"  God promises that his word "shall not return void, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it" (Isaiah 55:11).

So speak his truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and expect the Holy Spirit to use your words and life to change the world one person at a time.

We plant, someone else waters but God gives the increase.

Is there a greater privilege in life?

In a world that is becoming more and more godless.

Why not give Jesus a chance?

He is the Good Shepherd!

He is the King of Kings!

He is the Lamb that takes away the sins of the world and He is also the Lion of the Tribe of Judah The Messiah promised to Israel!

(Matthew 24:14)  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Prophetical Books: Isaiah

Introduction to the book of  Isaiah:

Isaiah is justly accounted the chief of the writing prophets. He has the more comprehensive testimony and is distinctively the prophet of redemption. Nowhere else in the Scriptures written under the law have we so clear a view of grace. The New Testament Church does not appear to Isaiah Ephesians 3:3-10, but Messiah in His Person and sufferings, and the blessing of the Gentiles through Him, are in full vision to the prophets.
Apart from his testimony to his own time, which includes warnings of coming judgments upon the great nations of that day, the predictive messages of Isaiah cover seven great themes:

1.    Israel in exile and divine judgment upon Israel's oppressors.
2.    The return from Babylon.

3.    The manifestation of Messiah in humiliation  Isaiah 53
4.    The blessing of the Gentiles.
5.    Messiah in judgment ("the day of vengeance of our God").
6.    The reign of David's righteous Branch in the kingdom-age.
7.    The new heavens and the new earth.
Isaiah is in two chief divisions:
1.    Looking toward the captivities (Isaiah 1:1-39:8). Key verses,  (Isaiah 1:1-2).
2.    Looking beyond the captivities (Isaiah 40:1 - 66:24). Key verses,  (Isaiah 40:1-2).
These chief divisions fall into subdivisions, as indicated in the text.
The events recorded in Isaiah cover a period of 62 year.

SCOFIELD REFERENCE NOTES (Old Scofield 1917 Edition) if you google this line it will take you to the Biblehub ... I have rearranged Scofields notes in this blog to make it easier for ME to assimilate. I think this is o.k. because Scofield and his commentaries are public domain now.

Introduction to Isaiah the man :

Prophets were men raised up by God in times of declension (backsliding) and apostasy in Israel. They were primarily revivalists and patriots, speaking on behalf of God to the heart and conscience of the nation.

The prophetic messages have a twofold character:

First, that which was local and for the prophet's time; secondly, that which was predictive of the divine purpose in the future. Often the prediction springs immediately from the local circumstances
As an example Isaiah 7:1-11 with Isaiah 7:12-14.

It is necessary to keep this Israelitish character of the prophet in mind. Usually his predictive, equally with his local and immediate ministry, is not didactic and abstract, but has in view the covenant people, their sin and failure, and their glorious future. The Gentile is mentioned as used for the chastisement of Israel, as judged therefore, but also as sharing the grace that is yet to be shown toward Israel, corporately, is not in the vision of the Old Testament  prophet     Gentiles Ephesians 3:1-6.

Deuteronomy 30:1–9   Israel

The future blessing of Israel as a nation rests upon the Palestinian Covenant of restoration and conversion,
and the Davidic Covenant of the Kingship of the Messiah, David's Son, and this gives to predictive prophecy its Messianic character. The exaltation of Israel is secured in the kingdom, and the kingdom takes its power to bless from the Person of the King, David's Son (JESUS) , but also "Immanuel." (God with US) But as the King is also Son of Abraham (Mat_1:1), Jesus the promised Redeemer, and as redemption is only through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, so messianic prophecy of necessity presents Christ in a twofold character--a suffering Messiah Isaiah 53, and a reigning Messiah Isaiah 11.

This duality, suffering and glory, weakness and power, involved a mystery which perplexed the prophets until they realized that we would be the ones served.

1 Peter 1:10,11,12 the same spirit we have now.

 Luke 24:26-27

The solution of that mystery lies, as the New Testament makes clear, in the two advents--the first advent to redemption through suffering; the second advent to the kingdom glory, when the national promises to Israel will be fulfilled

  Matthew 1:21-23
 Luke 2:28-35
 Luke 24:46-48

with

Luke 1:31-33
Luke 1:68-75
Matthew 2:2
Matthew 2:6

Matthew 19:27-28
Acts 2:30-32
Acts 15:14-16

The prophets indeed describe the advent in two forms which could not be contemporaneous,

Zechariah 9:9

 contrast

 Zechariah 14:1-9

but to them it was not revealed that between the advent to suffering, and the advent to glory, would be accomplished certain "mysteries of the kingdom", not that, consequent upon Messiah's rejection, the new Testament Church would be called out.

  Matthew 13:11-16

"Israel rejected Jesus as the Messiah, which was foreordained by God—which brings the riches of salvation to the Gentiles."

These were, to them, "mysteries hid in God"

Ephesian 3:1-10

Speaking broadly, then, predictive prophecy is occupied with the fulfilment of the Palestinian and Davidic Covenants; the Abrahamic Covenant having also its place.

Gentile powers are mentioned as connected with Israel, but prophecy, save in Daniel, Obadiah, Jonah, and Nahum, is not occupied with Gentile world-history. Daniel, as will be seen, has a distinctive character.

The predictions of the restoration from the Babylonian captivity at the end of seventy years, must be distinguished from those of the restoration from the present world-wide dispersion. The context is always clear.

The Palestinian Covenant Deuteronomy 28:1-30.9 is the mould of predictive prophecy in its larger sense--national disobedience, world-wide dispersion, repentance, the return of the Lord, the regathering of Israel and establishment of the kingdom, the conversion and blessing of Israel, and the judgment of Israel's oppressors.

The true division of the prophets is into pre-exilic, viz., in Judah: Isaiah, Jeremiah (extending into the exile), Joel, Obadiah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah. In Israel: Hosea, Amos, and Jonah. Exilic, Ezekiel and Daniel, both of Judah, but prophesying to the whole nation.

Post-exilic, all of Judah: Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi. The division into major and minor prophetic writings, based upon the mere bulk of the books, is unhistoric and non-chronological.

The keys which unlock the meaning of prophecy are:

 The two advents of Messiah:

the advent to suffer (Gen_3:15; Act_1:9)

 the advent to reign (Deu_30:3; Act_1:9-11);

the doctrine of the Remnant (Isa_10:20, refs),

the doctrine of the day of the Lord ( Isa_2:10-22; Rev_19:11-21),

 and the doctrine of the Kingdom (O.T.; Gen_1:26-28;

The pivotal chapters, taking prophecy as a whole, are, Deuteronomy 28., 29., 30.; Psalms 2.; Daniel 2., 7.

The whole scope of prophecy must be taken into account in determining the meaning of any particular passage (2 Peter 1:20).

Hence the importance of first mastering the great themes above indicated, which, in this edition of the Scriptures, may readily be done by tracing through the body of the prophetic writings the subjects mentioned in the preceding paragraph.

The detail of the "time of the end," upon which all prophecy converges, will be more clearly understood if to those subjects the student adds

the Beast Daniel 7:8; Revelations 19:20

and Armageddon   Revelations 16:14  Revelations 19:17

Forgiving and Forgeting

The Forgiving Heart comes from the Lord!

Forgiving is difficult to say the least and is impossible without the Holy Spirit to remind you that you need forgiveness!

The bible is always the source when you are having trouble with something so hurtful to yourself as The unforgiving Heart, our attitude toward God is what matters.

If you have lived very long on this Earth you will have been hurt or you will have hurt someone!

Hurting someone else hurts us the most because once you have hurt someone it is so hard to undo that hurt.

Sometimes you lose a friend for ever and regaining that trust is tough.

The Good News is the Holy Spirit can work and  Heal both the hurter and the hurtee ....

I have an opinion everyone has one these days But here is the last word on Forgiving and Forgetting.

Matthew 6:14    You Forgive God Forgets

Ephesians 4:32   In Christ God forgave you.

Hebrews 12:14-15  Without holiness no one sees God.

 2 John 1:8   Rewarded fully.

Matthew 5:44   Pray for your persecutors.

Hebrews 8:12    God forgives so should we

Romans 3:23      Pharisees pray to themselves Christians see themselves as God sees them. opps 1 opinion.

Ephesians 4:32   For Christ Sake we forgive.

We are in the Last Day's and that to me means this is no time to be afraid of what people might think. We need to stop fussing with each other and start holding each others hand in love.

If I said or did something stupid ... I am sorry ... I have forgotten it ... I am human I only remember what you did to me ... Grin.

In Him,

Bill

Quick Bible Prophecy Verses.

Bible prophecy is known to be 100% accurate. The majority of Bible scholars, do agree in a literal interpretation. There will be a series of events that many believe will occur very soon.
One of the initial things to happen, probably as a result of some global crisis, will be a one world government.
They worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?”
Rev 13

If you google on all these references you will get a lot of opinion. Read the Bible ask the Lord to explain. The Lord is not the Author of Confusion Man is. The Point is Trust the Lord, don't trust your intellect.

Spectrum Allocation DOD?

What is Spectrum Allocation?

It is the way Frequencies are Allocated!

Right now we are the innovators but it looks like that is changing.

We are goose stepping towards Globalization!

The Catch word is One World Government.

The Bible predicted the situation.

How?

The Anti-Christ will make it so you can't buy or sell .

Do you remember the old Joke about someone being slower than the second coming of Christ.

You probably do if you were born before 1948.

All kinds of Bible prophecy hinge on Israel becoming a Nation again.

Israel has the distinction of being the only Nation to ever come back from extinction.

Damascus, Syria has the distinction of being the only City never to be extinct.

If you have read your Bible for yourself the Lord will have already pointed you towards these eye openers.

If you have not then Ask for Wisdom and The Lord will give it to you.

If you are not a christian then read The Gospel of John.

We live in a world that is full of violence, dishonesty and ungodly men.

Because we have turned our backs on God as a country ,and allowed people to teach our children that God is a myth , we i.e. Americans are going to see persecution .

There is safety for those who belong to the Lord.

Which will you choose Child of God or descended from apes?

I am a Child of God not because I am good but  because I accepted Jesus Christ .

I hope you find him He is not some effeminate guy begging you to love him .

He is The Lion of the Tribe of Judah!

Jesus is his Name, David who killed Goliath, is His Grandfather.

Come quickly Lord Jesus.

We have an Advocate ....

  Who does care about you?

(Matthew 11:28) Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

(Psalms 14:4) Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge?

who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.

(Isaiah 52:5) Now therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the LORD;

and my name continually every day is blasphemed.

We need to Watch and Encourage each other!

(John 16:33) These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Jesus of Nazareth, the Prince of Peace, is the only One who can give us unshakable peace in a world of turmoil.

I hope that you have come to him.

AND Ask him into your heart.

Child of God or came from a swap?

Your Choice
