How do we enter into His REST ?

Let us therefore fear .....

“So” (Greek: οὖν) So [or therefore]

What is the THEREFORE  THERE FOR ?

 therefore:

(Hebrews 4:11)  Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

So we need to read what was said before to find out what the context of that REST IS !

(Hebrews 4:10)  For those who receive that rest which God promised will rest from their own work, just as God rested from his.

How do we Enter into that REST ?

By Trusting Jesus Christ and His finished work on the Cross. He fulfilled the Law and He also accomplished all of the Prophets Prophecies about himself.

(Hebrews 4:2)  For we have heard the Good News, just as they did.

3Jesus replied, ‘Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.

6Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.

that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.’

They heard this message, but it did them no good,

 because when they heard it,

they did not accept it with FAITH but they kept trying to keep the Ten Commandments.

Grace is Free! Free means it is yours (Salvation) the moment you put your trust in Jesus Christ and his perfect life. Saved by Grace and not by your good life or works! Grace is a free Gift!

Any God will do is a Lie.

Jesus Said: I am the way the truth and the light no other way but through his finished work on the cross.

Today is the Day tomorrow might be to late.

A Panoramic View of the Bible

The Bible, incomparably the most widely circulated of books, at once provokes and baffles study. Even the non-believer in its authority rightly feels that it is unintelligent to remain in almost total ignorance of the most famous and ancient of books. And yet most, even of sincere believers, soon retire from any serious effort to master the content of the sacred writings. The reason is not far to seek. It is found in the fact that no particular portion of Scripture is to be intelligently comprehended apart from some conception of its place in the whole. For the Bible story and message is like a picture wrought out in mosaics: each book, chapter, verse, and even word forms a necessary part, and has its own appointed place. It is, therefore, indispensable to any interesting and fruitful study of the Bible that a general knowledge of it be gained.

First.

The Bible is one book. Seven great marks attest this unity.

1)    From Genesis the Bible bears witness to one God. Wherever he speaks or acts he is consistent with himself, and with the total revelation concerning him.

2)    The Bible forms one continuous story-the story of humanity in relation to God.

3)    The Bible hazards the most unlikely predictions concerning the future, and, when the centuries have brought round the appointed time, records their fulfillment.

4)    The Bible is a progressive unfolding of truth. Nothing is told all at once, and once for all. The law is, "first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn." Without the possibility of collusion, often with centuries between, one writer of Scripture takes up an earlier revelation, adds to it, lays down the pen, and in due time another man moved by the Holy Spirit, and another, and another, add new details till the whole is complete.

5)    From beginning to end the Bible testifies to one redemption.

6)    From beginning to end the Bible has one great theme-the person and work of the Christ.

7)    And, finally, these writers, some forty-four in number, writing through twenty centuries, have produced a perfect harmony of doctrine in progressive unfolding. This is, to every candid mind, the unanswerable proof of the divine inspiration of the Bible.

Second.

The Bible is a book of books. Sixty-six books make up the one Book. Considered with reference to the unity of the one book the separate books may be regarded as chapters. But that is but one side of the truth, for each of the sixty-six books is complete in itself, and has its own theme and analysis. In the present edition of the Bible these are fully shown in the introductions and divisions. It is therefore of the utmost moment that the books be studied in the light of their distinctive themes. Genesis, for instance, is the book of beginnings-the seed-plot of the whole Bible. Matthew is the book of the King, & etc.

Third.

The books of the Bible fall into groups. Speaking broadly there are five great divisions in the Scriptures, and these may be conveniently fixed in the memory by five key-words, Christ being the one theme (Luk_24:25-27).

PREPARATION: The OT
MANIFESTATION: The Gospels
PROPAGATION: The Acts
EXPLANATION: The Epistles
CONSUMMATION: The Apocalypse

In other words, the Old Testament is the preparation for Christ; in the Gospels he is manifested to the world; in the Acts he is preached and his Gospel is propagated in the world; in the Epistles his Gospel is explained; and in the Revelation all the purposes of God in and through Christ are consummated. And these groups of books in turn fall into groups. This is especially true of the Old Testament, which is in four well defined groups. Over these may be written as memory aids:

REDEMPTION
Genesis
Exodus
Leviticus
Numbers
Deuteronomy

ORGANIZATION
Joshua
Judges
Ruth
I, II Samuel
I, II Kings
I, II Chronicles
Ezra
Nehemiah
Esther

POETRY
Job
Psalms
Proverbs
Ecclesiastes
Song of Solomon
Lamentations

SERMONS
Isaiah
Jeremiah
Ezekiel
Daniel
Hosea
Joel
Amos
Obadiah
Jonah
Micah
Nahum
Habakkuk
Zephaniah
Haggai
Zechariah
Malachi

Again care should be taken not to overlook, in these general groupings, the distinctive messages of the several books composing them. Thus, while redemption is the general theme of the Pentateuch, telling as it does the story of the redemption of Israel out of bondage and into "a good land and large," each of the five books has its own distinctive part in the whole. Genesis is the book of beginnings, and explains the origin of Israel. Exodus tells the story of the deliverance of Israel; Leviticus of the worship of Israel as delivered people; Numbers the wanderings and failures of the delivered people, and Deuteronomy warns and instructs that people in view of their approaching entrance upon their inheritance. The Poetical books record the spiritual experiences of the redeemed people in the varied scenes and events through which the providence of God led them. The prophets were inspired preachers, and the prophetical books consist of sermons with brief connecting and explanatory passages. Two prophetical books, Ezekiel and Daniel, have a different character and are apocalyptic, largely.

Fourth.

The Bible tells the Human Story. Beginning, logically, with the creation of the earth and man, the story of the race sprung from the first human pair continues through the first eleven chapters of Genesis. With the twelfth chapter begins the history of Abraham and of the nation of which Abraham was the ancestor. It is that nation, Israel, with which the Bible narrative is thereafter chiefly concerned from the eleventh chapter of Genesis to the second chapter of the Acts of the Apostles. The Gentiles are mentioned, but only in connection with Israel. But it is made increasingly clear that Israel so fills the scene only because entrusted with the accomplishment of great world-wide purposes (Deu_7:7).

The appointed mission of Israel was,

1.    to be a witness to the unity of God in the midst of idolatry (Deu_6:5; Isa_43:10);

2.    to illustrate to the nations the greater blessedness of serving the one true God (Deu_33:26-29; 1Ch_17:20-21; Psa_102:15);

3.    to receive and preserve the Divine revelation (Rom_3:1-2); and

4.    to produce the Messiah, earth's Saviour and Lord (Rom_9:4). The prophets foretell a glorious future for Israel under the reign of Christ. The biblical story of Israel, past, present, and future, falls into seven distinct periods:

1)    From the call of Abram (Genesis 12) to the Exodus (Exodus 1 - 20);

2)    From the Exodus to the death of Joshua (Exodus 21 to Joshua 24);

3)    from the death of Joshua to the establishment of the Hebrew monarchy under Saul;

4)    the period of the kings from Saul to the Captivities;

5)    the period of the Captivities;

6)    the restored commonwealth from the end of the Babylonian captivity of Judah, to the destruction of Jerusalem, A.D. 70;

7)    the present dispersion. The Gospels record the appearance in human history and within the Hebrew nation of the promised Messiah, Jesus Christ, and tell the wonderful story of his manifestation to Israel, his rejection by that people, his crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension. The Acts of the Apostles record the descent of the Holy Spirit, and the beginning of a new thing in human history, the Church. The division of the race now becomes threefold-the Jew, the Gentile, and the Church of God. Just as Israel is in the foreground from the call of Abram to the resurrection of Christ, so now the Church fills the scene from the second chapter of the Acts to the fourth chapter of the Revelation. The remaining chapters of that book complete the story of humanity and the final triumph of Christ.

Fifth.

The Central Theme of the Bible is Christ. It is this manifestation of Jesus Christ, his Person as "God manifest in the flesh" (1Ti_3:16), his sacrificial death, and his resurrection, which constitute the Gospel. Unto this all preceding Scripture leads, from this all following Scripture proceeds. The Gospel is preached in the Acts and explained in the Epistles. Christ, Son of God, Son of man, Son of Abraham, Son of David, thus binds the many books into one Book. Seed of the woman (Gen_3:15) he is the ultimate destroyer of Satan and his works; Seed of Abraham he is the world blesser; Seed of David he is Israel's King. "Desire of all Nations." Exalted to the right hand of God he is "head over all to the Church, which is his body," while to Israel and the nations the promise of his return forms the one and only rational expectation that humanity will yet fulfil itself. Meanwhile the Church looks momentarily for the fulfilment of his special promise: "I will come again and receive you unto myself" (Joh_14:1-3). To him the Holy Spirit throughout this Gospel age bears testimony. The last book of all, the Consummation book, is "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" (Rev_1:1).

(THE PENTATEUCH)

The five books ascribed to Moses have a peculiar place in the structure of the Bible, and an order which is undeniably the order of the experience of the people of God in all ages. Genesis is the book of origins-of the beginning of life, and of ruin through sin. Its first word, "In the beginning God," is in striking contrast with the end, "In a coffin in Egypt." Exodus is the book of redemption, the first need of a ruined race. Leviticus is the book of worship and communion, the proper exercise of the redeemed. Numbers speaks of the experiences of a pilgrim people, the redeemed passing through a hostile scene to a promised inheritance. Deuteronomy, retrospective and prospective, is a book of instruction for the redeemed about to enter that inheritance. That Babylonian and Assyrian monuments contain records bearing a grotesque resemblance to the majestic account of the creation and of the Flood is true, as also that these antedate Moses. But this confirms rather than invalidates inspiration of the Mosaic account. Some tradition of creation and the Flood would inevitably be handed down in the ancient cradle of the race. Such a tradition, following the order of all tradition, would take on grotesque and mythological features, and these abound in the Babylonian records. Of necessity, therefore, the first task of inspiration would be to supplant the often absurd and childish traditions with a revelation of the true history, and such a history we find in words of matchless grandeur, and in a order which, rightly understood, is absolutely scientific. In the Pentateuch, therefore, we have a true and logical introduction to the entire Bible; and, in type, an epitome of the divine revelation.

Allah is the greatest of all deceivers Compare Kuran and The Holy Bible!

I did not write this but it is well worth reading .... !

Allah is the greatest of all deceivers (Qur'an 3:54, 7:99, 8:30) • And the devil that deceived them: (Revelation 20:10)

• Allah is Lord of the worlds: (Qur'an 10:37) • Satan is god of this world: (2 Corinthians 4:3-4)

• 99 names of Allah: 10 المتكبر Al-Mutakabbir: "The Most Proud" (Qur'an 59:23) • Satan was cast out of heaven because of his Pride: (Isaiah 14:12-15, Ezekiel 28:11-19)

• 99 names of Allah: 61 المميت Al-Mumīt: The Bringer of Death, The Destroyer: (Qur'an 3:156, 7:158, 15:23, 57:2) • In the Bible, Satan is the Destroyer: (1 Corinthians 10:10)

• 99 names of Allah: 78 المتعالي Al-Mutaʿālī: The Most High (Qur'an 13:9) • In the Bible, Satan (Lucifer) will be "like" The Most High (Isaiah 14:14)

• All they that know thee [Lucifer/Satan] among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror and never shalt thou be any more: (Ezekiel 28:19 KJV)

• Remember when your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them: (Qur'an 8:12) • He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil:
 (1 John 3:8)

• Allah's Apostle said: 'I have been made victorious with terror' (Hadith 4:52:220) • Thou shalt not kill: (Exodus 20:13)

• And kill them wherever you find them: (Qur'an 2:191) • Fight them! Allah will chastise them at your hands, and He will lay them low and give you victory over them: (Qur'an 9:14) • Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it: (John 8:44)

• Allah's Apostle said: The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say: "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him." (Hadith 4:52:177) • These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you ‘will think’ that he doeth God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor Me. (John 16:1-3)
  • The thief (Satan) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I AM (Jesus) come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)

• We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they joined others in worship with Allah: (Qur'an 3:151) • Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for “salvation” is of the Jews. (John 4:22)

 • Fight against those who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, and those who acknowledge not the “religion of truth” → among the people of the Scripture ← (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued !(Revelation 21:8)

(Qur'an 9:29) • But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and MURDERERS, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and ALL LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death:

Who revealed the Quran to Muhammad? Was it really Gabriel? • Say (O Muhammad): Whoever is an enemy to Jibrael (Gabriel), let him die in his fury, for indeed he has brought it (this Qur'an) down to your heart by Allah's Permission, confirming what came before it [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] and guidance and glad tidings for the believers. (Qur'an 2:97) • But though we or an 'angel from heaven' [Gabriel/Jibrael] preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you let him be accursed! As we said before so say I now again; If any man [Muhammad] preach any other gospel [Qur'an] unto you than that you have received [Bible] let him be accursed! ~ (Galatians 1:8-9)
 • And no marvel for Satan himself is transformed into an ‘angel of light.’ Therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers [Muhammad] also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2 Corinthians 11:14-15)

 • Allah's Apostle said: The most awful name in Allah's sight on the Day of Resurrection, will be that of a man calling himself, "Malik Al-Amlak" [the King of Kings]. (Hadith 8:73:224) • These shall make war with the Lamb (Jesus), and the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of Lords, and King of Kings: and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful. (Revelation 17:14)

 • And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written: King Of Kings, and Lord Of Lords.
 (Revelation 19:14-16)

 • That thou keep this commandment [The Bible] without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: which in His times He shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate: the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. (1 Timothy 6:14-15)

Whoever you are, Wherever you are The Gospel of Jesus Christ is available to you .... Which is !

Romans 10:10

I hope you make the decision to accept Jesus Christ as your savior and have ask him into your heart He will never leave or forsake you He will always be there to strengthen you and You will have eternal where there is no pain or suffering.

The Rise Of Putinism?

The Hungarian PM said this week the country would practice illiberal democracy. Is he taking a page from Putin’s book?

 OR

Is This the start of the coalition spoken of in Ezekiel 38?

The Bible Indicates the countries involved will be: Gog, the land of Magog: Russia
The chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: Turkey, parts of Southern Russia and Northern Iran
Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them: Iran, Ethiopia and Libya.

(The Bible Says not to put your trust in Men but to study for yourself asking the holy spirit to guide)

God is not the author of confusion so when you read anything other than the bible be sure to include the Lord in your studies. Men can be consulted BUT Gods word has to be the final say on every aspect of a True Believers Life in Jesus Christ.

Bible Prophecy  gives us a picture of Current Events, With the help of the Holy Spirit Christians can be aware of what the Bible says about the Last Days ! The first Key to understanding is to believe that God is who He says He is : I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE, NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER WITHOUT ME! Without the WORD of God you cannot completely understand Prophecy!

Ask the Lord Jesus Christ into your Heart and He will give you a comforter!

Let your hands be strong!

(Zechariah 8:9)  Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.

(Galatians 3:28)  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
(Galatians 3:29)  And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

(Isaiah 41:10)  Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

(Isaiah 41:11)  Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.

(Isaiah 41:12)  Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.

(Isaiah 41:13)  For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

(Isaiah 41:14)  Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

(Isaiah 41:15)  Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.

(Isaiah 41:16)  Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.

The Lord Provides all our needs!

My christian Friend Rigo Ramos came over the other day to get some pvc fittings that I had lying around and He got this look in his eye . If you have gotten older and show it and someone has not seen you for awhile .... you know the look .... grin ... it is THE what .... happened to you look ... grin ... You look like you been rode hard and put up wet ... anyway ... The next thing I know His father in Law Feliciano who also worked for me for 10 years or so came over and ask if He could help with the Yard work ... He mowed all the lawns and weed eat all the fence lines in a couple of hours and wouldn't take any money ... wow ... it was taking me all week to mow just the lawn .... Thank You Lord and Thank You Rigo and Felix ..... The Holy Spirit at work .... (Galatians 5:6) For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

http://www.dayofpentecost.blogspot.com/2014/02/prayer-ideas.html

I had been praying for tires for my truck and not having any luck on Craigslist and Rigo called and said that Trino had two tires that would fit my truck for 20 dollars a piece ... I went over and got them and they were the exact same tires that I have on my truck ... same ... only 70 % they  looked almost new ...  While I was there at Trino and Jana's house they loaded me down with Rice and pumpkins (we call them zuchini) and onions and peppers and ... Tell me does prayer work?

(1 Peter 1:7)  That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

The Myth of Russian Supremacy or any Master Race?

Will Man Ever Bring Peace ?

If we read The bible the answer is NO ... Only the Prince of Peace Jesus Christ will do that!

(Luke 21:24); (Rev_16:19) Daniel saw the true character of Gentile world-government as rapacious and warlike, established and maintained by force. It is remarkable that the heraldic insignia of the Gentile nations are all beasts or birds of prey.

Russian insignia: Bear

(Daniel 7:5)  And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.

Britain insignia : Lion

American insignia: Eagle

(Daniel 7:4)  The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.

If Britain is the Lion and America is the Eagle then What might be in store for us in America. Since The Eagle America Came from Britain the Lion could this be speaking of England and America?
Am I a nutball or am I a wiseman? The Bible says that all those who find Jesus Christ will shine as the stars for ever.
If you are not sure about the Bible and if it can be trusted then think about all the bible prophecies that Jesus Christ has fulfilled so far .... http://dayofpentecost.blogspot.com/2014/02/the-bible-and-laws-of-probability.html

Before you can understand Bible Prophecy You must first make a decision .... Is Jesus Christ the creator in the form of a man ? https://www.bible.com/bible/kjv/joh.1.1,14.kjv

Then once you have asked Jesus to put his spirit in your heart you will be lead by HIM and He will teach you about himself and open the Scriptures up for you.

(Revelation 3:20)  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

The Bibles says that the offer to the Gentiles will be full and just like the doors of Noahs Ark some will try to get in to the Ark but it will be to late .... Jesus Christ is the Ark of our Salvation ...

I hope you make the correct decision !

Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets?

All Scripture is profitable for the instruction of the righteous man.

Some of the Bible is History and is there to warn us against making the same mistakes.

For anyone who has spent even a little time reading the Bible it becomes apparent just how much of the bible is  Devoted to Prophecy as a way of showing us that the Lord knows the beginning from the End, and that The Lord is who He says He is .... The Ancient of Days and that we should be getting ready and watching for His coming. Zechariah is speaking about Israel and when they were dispersed among all the Nations . They were called back to Israel in 1948 that has not happened to any other Nation!
The Lord sends His disciples out among the people and warns of coming events WE as his people who are called by His name are required to listen and be about doing his work. Using the Holy Spirit as your guide ask him to explain How these things apply to us today!

 (Zechariah 7:1)  And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;

(Zechariah 7:2)  When they had sent unto the house of God Sherezer and Regemmelech, and their men, to pray before the LORD,

(Zechariah 7:3)  And to speak unto the priests which were in the house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?

(Zechariah 7:4)  Then came the word of the LORD of hosts unto me, saying,

(Zechariah 7:5)  Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?

(Zechariah 7:6)  And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?

(Zechariah 7:7)  Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?

(Zechariah 7:8)  And the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah, saying,

(Zechariah 7:9)  Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

(Zechariah 7:10)  And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

(Zechariah 7:11)  But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.

(Zechariah 7:12)  Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.

(Zechariah 7:13)  Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the LORD of hosts:

(Zechariah 7:14)  But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate.

I like to use cometary by other Christians and then ask the Lord if this is correct. This one is by Scofield who has influenced a lot of what we as Christians believe today! This method of study strengthens  your trust in the Lord. Involve the Lord in all your ways especially your Bible Studies!

 Zechariah 7:1

ninth month, Chisleu

That is, December.

Zechariah 7:2

they

"They," that is, of the captivity in Babylon. The mission of these Jews of the captivity concerned a fast day instituted by the Jews in commemoration of the destruction of Jerusalem, wholly of their own will, and without warrant from the word of God. In the beginning there was doubtless sincere contrition in the observance of the day; now it had become a mere ceremonial. The Jews of the dispersion would be rid of it, but seek authority from the priests. The whole matter, like much in modern pseudo-Christianity, was extra-Biblical, formal, and futile. Jehovah takes the occasion to send a divine message to the dispersion. That message is in five parts:

(1) Their fast was a mere religious form; they should rather have given heed to the "former prophets" (Zec_7:4-7);

Compare (Isa_1:12); (Mat_15:1-10).

(2) they are told why their 70 years' prayer has not been answered (Zec_7:8-14). Compare (Psa_66:18); (Isa_1:14-17).

(3) the unchanged purpose of Jehovah, and the blessing of Israel in the kingdom (Zec_8:1-8).

Compare a like order in; (Isa_1:24-31); (Isa_2:1-4).

(4) the messengers of the captivity are exhorted to hear the prophets of "these days," i.e, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi, and to do justly; then all their fasts and feasts will become gladness and joy (Zec_8:9-19).

(5) they are assured that Jerusalem is yet to be the religious centre of the earth (Zec_8:20-23); (Isa_2:1-3); (Zec_14:16-21).

(Proverbs 8:34)  Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

(Proverbs 8:35)  For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.

(Proverbs 8:36)  But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

The Ugly Americans!

Persecution Worldwide

In more than 40 nations around the world today Christians are being persecuted for their faith.
Liar or Gullible?

In some of these nations it is illegal to own a Bible, to share your faith in Christ, To change your faith or teach your children about Jesus. Those who boldly follow Christ—in spite of government edict or radical opposition—can face harassment, arrest, torture and even death. How can this so called American stand at Cairo, Egypt in one of their Universities and Tell such lies.  What must they think of us a people? I know I would think what cowards American Christians must be Rich in money but not in faith.

Christians World Wide continue to Trust the Lord and meet for worship and  witness for Christ, The church which is the Whole Body of believers World Wide is still growing in restricted nations.  What does that say about America ... no longer the Home of the Brave! America the home of the lip service Christian. FAT Dumb and not so happy. Ride around in your big over priced Motor homes .... thinking only of you and yours. What a distasteful bunch of hypocrites have we become .........

(Revelation 2:5)  Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
(Revelation 3:15)  I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

(Revelation 3:16)  So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

(Revelation 3:17)  Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

How long do you think it will be before We in America will be spared?

Do you Think God is a respector of People?

China is the fastest growing body of believers Now!

Where does America Stand?

(Isaiah 55:3)  Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

(Psalms 34:3)  O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

The Biblical Gospel of Jesus Christ! God does not "repossess" salvation!

The Biblical Gospel of Jesus Christ which is proven by Gods Word.

We believe Gods Word because of the Prophecy that has been and will be fulfilled.

1Corinthians 15:1-5 very plainly states not only what the gospel IS, BUT ALSO what to believe to be saved, and wherein is our standing: i.e. Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross.

"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you THE GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have received and

WHEREIN YE STAND; BY WHICH ALSO YE ARE SAVED,

if ye keep in memory what I have preached unto you unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the Scriptures; and that HE WAS BURIED, and that HE ROSE AGAIN the third day according to the Scriptures; and that HE WAS SEEN of Cephas, then of the twelve" and about 500 people who where present but some are asleep in Jesus i.e. died physically .

Notice in Act_10:36-44 how, through Peter's preaching this four-point gospel, Cornelius and company were saved being Gentiles.

See also Paul's preaching it in Act_13:26-33, Act_13:38-39.

(Acts 13:38)  Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

(Acts 13:39)  And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.     The Law of Moses is the Ten Commandments this verse clearly says no one can keep the Ten Commandments , With one exception Jesus Christ He is the only one who has kept them all THE LAW and THE PROPHETS !

Just as all our sins were put upon Christ when He died on the cross, so all His righteousness and perfect sinlessness is  put upon us the moment we believe this good news "with the heart."   We can even ask the Lord to help us with our unbelief !

"He that believeth on the Son HATH EVERLASTING LIFE" and he "shall not come into judgment (condemnation) but is passed out of death (spiritual separation from God) into life", or union with God—"He that is joined to the Lord is one spirit". He has been "quickened" made alive in possession of Christ's "endless life" and is in-dwelt by the Holy Spirit "forever". Please turn to :

(John 3:17)  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

(John 3:36)  He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

(John 5:24)  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

(1 John 4:15)  Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

(1 John 4:16)  And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

(1 John 5:9)  If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

(1 John 5:10)  He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

(1 John 5:11)  And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

(1 John 5:12)  He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

(1 John 5:13)  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

and re-read these precious truths as you read the following:

The word "hath" in Joh_3:36 firmly indicates immediate and everlasting possession of God's gift of eternal life.

Then, too, all believers are "sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise which is the earnest (or pledge—God's own unbreakable pledge) of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession", meaning, the glorification of their bodies at Christ's return

(Ephesians 1:13)  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

(Ephesians 1:14)  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

(1 Thessalonians 4:13)  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (physically dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

(1 Thessalonians 4:14)  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

(1 Thessalonians 4:15)  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

(1 Thessalonians 4:16)  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

(1 Thessalonians 4:17)  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
(Thank You Lord Jesus, Maranatha)

(Romans 8:29)  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

(Romans 8:30)  Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

(Romans 8:31)  What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

The Scriptures teach eternal security—in Christ, not in us.

It is not debatable.

It is the only true gospel.

To deny this teaching is to disparage the grace of God and His Word, as well as the efficacy of the atoning sacrifice of God's Son.

 Additional references : Joh_10:28; Joh_11:25; Joh_13:9-10;  1Pe_1:5; Heb_9:12; Heb_10:14 ;Heb_13:5; Php_1:6; 1Co_1:8-9; Psa_37:23, Psa_37:24 Psa_37:28 ; Psa_23:6; Psa_21:4; Psa_22:26.

Just remember that God does not "repossess" salvation as merchants do earthly things when payments fail. "The gifts and calling of God are not repented of"

( Rom_11:29 ) .

In opposing these precious truths religious unbelievers will argue, Then all there is to it is just believe, and you can sin all you want to. It proves that they do not know what salvation is—that it is not by faith plus works, but by a faith that works. To believe "with the heart" in Christ and His redeeming work means nothing less than subsequent crucifixion of self through God's enabling power and to live by Him, in departure from all iniquity, as stated in Gal_2:20 ; Gal_5:24; 2Co_5:15 ; 2Ti_2:19. We may not preach grace at the expense of Christian living. Eternal redemption is not eternal exemption! To be saved is to be "His workmanship (not ours), created in Christ Jesus unto (not by ) good works which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them" (Eph_2:10). A "new creature in Christ" does not want to sin, he hates sin. "Old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new" (2Co_5:17).

It is written of false teachers, "If they speak not according to this Word, it is because there is no light in them". "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

How do you pronounce Ishtar .... Easter ?

This Ishtar, or Eostre, was worshiped as the goddess of love and fertility, and as the life of nature. Not taught in the Bible!

In Babylonish mythology, this "queen of heaven" was worshiped as the goddess of the sexual impulse.

"Easters": "A spring feast was celebrated. These occasions were marked with great sexual license." The "groves" connected with the "high places" that Israel so frequently "went a whoring with" (Psalms 106:28-39) were the images and places where these filthy "queen of heaven" festivals were carried on.

The word "groves," found forty times in our English Bible, comes from the Hebrew word "Asherah" and is always associated with the worship of Ashtoreth, alias Ishtar, Eostre, the goddess of spring.

Ancient Babylonians believed an egg fell from heaven into the Euphrates River and the fishes rolled it to the shore where the doves hatched out "the Queen of Heaven," or Ishtar. Hence, the egg became a symbol of Ishtar, the licentiously worshiped goddess of the ancients , Any GOD will do Christendom in its celebration of Easter and other pagan GODLESS, BLOODLESS religions are allowing false doctrines to creep in that is called Apostacy. Christ who has the free gift of salvation is not a false religion. We are either for Jesus Christ OR we are against Jesus Christ there is no neutral ground.

The rabbit fad at Easter time can be traced back to pagan Germany. Children were told that if they were good, a white hare would steal into the house while they were asleep and secrete any number of beautifully colored eggs in odd corners of the house. Here then originated the modern "Easter egg hunt" provided for innocent children.

I hope that you prayerfully examine your life to see if you are in the faith.

If you where born into a Christian Home but you really do not have Christ as first in your life, or not at all in your heart then You should do that now.

Do that in private and ask the Lord to help you get back the JOY of your salvation or give you Joy in your new salvation.

No need for a public show, if you are saved people will see the difference and when they do tell them about the hope That is in you. The Bible is Gods Word.
Ask God to teach you about His Word! The Gospel of John! click on the link at the top right, looks like a speaker, to have a professional Actor read this Gospel to you!

The Four Blood Moons?

(Joel 2:30)  And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

(Joel 2:31)  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

(Joel 2:32)  And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

This is the Bible verse which the Four Blood Moons hinge upon.

No one knows When we will see the Lord Jesus Christ coming or when He will take His Christian Church home with him.

We can study the Bible for ourselves, Asking our Savior Jesus Christ to explain these things and to open our eyes to His coming.

Watch and Wait.

If you are not saved and do not know Jesus Christ as your savior then you need to make a decision, this decision has no neutral ground ... You are for JESUS CHRIST OR you are against him, That is the only positions available.

Don't let anyone fool you ... there is only one way to salvation and that is through Jesus the Messiah of not just Israel but the whole world.

The Gospel of John

How to be saved? Ask Jesus Christ and He will open your eyes.

Act 16:30-31

Romans 10:10

Ephesians 2:5-9

License to Sin no !

I hope you make the right decision.

I did 40 years ago I have won some and lost some battles but the victory because of Jesus will be mine.

WarSaw Pack round 2? Russian and Chinese aliases ?

Trouble everywhere in the World . What does it all mean? Even Secular wisdom is predicting World War 3. The Rich get Richer their trust is in their back pocket. It always looks like they are going to win UNTIL you consider Who is in control ... Like King David when we go into the Sanctuary of the Lord then we see how slippery their positions are.

As for me and My House we will Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ because tomorrow your soul might be required of you! Are you safe ? You can be ask the Lord Jesus Christ to open your eyes He will and when you accept him you will be safe against all Alarms.

Many things are happening all at once Earthquakes and Wars Nation against Nation Matthew 24 Is the bible chapter where Jesus is Telling Peter that the temple will be torn down where they are standing and talking ... 70 years later Roman Soliers did just that to get the Gold Mortar. He says that when the times of the Gentiles are fullfilled that there will be alot of things start to happen more frequently. In Daniel 7 He says that in the last days there will be an increase of knowledge like never before. Why is Israel important to bible prophecy because Israels Messiah Jesus Christ is to come back to Jerusalem to the Mount of Olives.

For the first time in history, Israel is closing all it’s embassies and consulates worldwide, the timing, the events going on across the globe, the missing Malaysia flight and the potential for this plane that is missing since March 9th possibly being used in a terrorist attack, all indicate that Israel is bringing their people back home where they can be protected, no matter what they claim is the “official” reason.

Israel recently threatened to “destroy” those that would attack them and a move like this, a historical move, could very well mean that Israel expects World War III to break out and is acting accordingly.

Something huge is coming… be prepared.

Of course our protection is our individual relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ.

It never hurts to examine yourself to make sure you are in the faith.

Beware of a False Salvation?
